Corporate Giving Programme
The Corporate Giving Committee continued its committment to supporting the local community throughout 2007-2008. Each year, our staff are encouraged to participate in fundraising initiatives and assist local charities and not-for-profit organsiations in the Northern Territory nominated by our team.
The organisations supported by NT Airports are varied and include the sporting field, the arts, emergency services, the environment and charitable organsiations such as the Salvation Army.
The Darwin International Airport (DIA) Annual Charity Golf Day continued its enormous success in July 2008, raising over $16,000.
In 2009-2010, our primary charities selected for support were CanTeen (the organisation supporting young people affected by cancer), and Arthritis and Osteoporosis NT. We also participated with a bash car in the Variety Bash.
